At 79, Yash Chopra is getting more mischievous than ever. Mumbai Mirror has learnt that Chopra has decided to keep the conclusion of the love-triangle in his new directorial venture secret, from not just the world at large, but the protagonists themselves.

Neither Katrina Kaif, nor Anushka Sharma know, who Shah Rukh Khan will walk away with at the end.

Yash Raj Films finally put to rest rumours that their next film with Shah Rukh Khan was a remake of their yesteryear hit Daag.

“Neither Yash nor Aditya Chopra believe in remaking films. They’ve never bought anyone else’s scripts or looked at their own previous work for inspiration,” a source from the production house informed us. “Whether the films are received as good or bad, the Chopras want them to be perceived as original.”

He made Swiss Alps the most wanted honeymoon destination for newly wedded couples in India. The sub-zero temperature notwithstanding, for Yash Chopra films, snow clad mountains became the perfect backdrop for romance. Be it Amitabh Bachchan and Rakhee Gulzar snuggling in a shawl in Kabhie Kabhi or Amitabh and Rekha holding hands and singing Dekha Ek Khwab in Silsila, Yash Chopra, snow and romance have been inseparable. And iconic. And now, the filmmaker who is returning to direction with the yet untitled Shah Rukh Khan - Katrina Kaif starrer after 8 years, is keen on bringing back the same white romance in his upcoming venture. Mumbai Mirror has learnt that Yash Chopra is busy location hunting. And this time, he wants his favourite snow clad mountains back.

Actress Anushka Sharma, who has worked with some of the top guns of B-town in her four-year acting career, is all excited about her forthcoming project, Vishal Bhardwaj's Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola.

The 23-year-old model-turned Bollywood actress, who made her debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in a Yash Chopra production, says she was dying to work with the critically acclaimed filmmaker Bhardwaj as he "brings out the best in his actors".

The unthinkable is finally happening or so we assumed. In a casting coup of sorts, when Yash Chopra announced SRK-Katrina as his next leading couple, rumour mongers started speculating the 'side-effects' of this volatile pairing.

While Ekta Kapoor is racing hard with Yash Raj Films, to release her film Lootera on the scheduled date October 26 as the two films strike an uncanny resemblance; YRF too are gearing to go on the floors.

Soon after Zee Cine Awards will get over in Macau, the entire star cast Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma will reach London. Director Yash Chopra will be shooting some crucial scenes and songs for the film with the actors in London.

New Shah Rukh Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer directed by Yash Chopra is set to go on the floors Monday.
