Ever since they starred together in Yash Chopra’s ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’, Bollywood’s girl-next-door Anushka Sharma and her rumored love interest Ranveer Singh have been inseparable.

Though the two have always tried to dodge relationship rumors on camera, their public displays of affection, especially the one where the duo was spotted kissing on an actor’s birthday bash, have a different story to tell.

However, the ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ actress once again made an unsuccessful attempt on Simi Garewal’s new TV chat show ‘Simi Selects India’s Most Desirable’ by stating that though she finds Ranveer attractive, they are poles apart from each other.

Anushka, 23, who’ll be featuring in this week’s episode, denied dating Ranveer, saying, “I like him, he’s attractive but we two are very different people. If I need to be with another man, he needs to calm me down otherwise it would not be a good relationship…

“We (Ranveer and Anushka) have a very volatile relationship, we can actually kill each other and I am serious. I can bite his head off, he can take mine off.”

IIFA AWARD winner Anushka Sharma has denied ever dating Ranveer Singh and says she hopes to have an arranged marriage in the future.

These revelations were made to Simi Garewal on her show Simi Selects: India's Most Desirable . When asked why she and Ranveer were not dating, Anushka replied: " He's attractive but we are two very different people. We have a very volatile relationship.

I can take his head off, he can take mine off. We see life in a very different way. For me a relationship can't be frivolous. Besides, both of us are not ready to be in a relationship right now." Later when Simi enquired if she would like to go for an arranged marriage she said, " Yes I would prefer that."

Even today I could be stranded in any part of the country be it a small city, town or district. I just have to find the closest army cantonments and I'll be at home. When I see an army uniform, I feel so happy."

So when the film started and that logo played first and I was like wow... it actually happened.

Anushka added that she got very emotional when she actually got the role. “I was driving back from Yash Raj studios when Adi (Aditya Chopra) told me that I'd got the role. I couldn’t drive anymore because I was crying so I stopped the car and pulled over. I called my mother and told her that I got this film. Do you know what my mother told me? She said that there was this turtle that used to be in my room - I think its some Feng Shui thing - you open the turtle and you put a wish in the turtle. And when it comes true you take it out. She's never told me about this. But after I got the film she opened it and she showed it to me and she had written there - I hope that my daughter stars in a Yash Raj film. I swear! It’s unbelievable! I think somewhere she always wanted me to be an actress."
