Leggy Lass Anushka Sharma is going great guns in Bollywood. After delivering two back-to-back success in the form of RAB NE BANA DI JODI & BADMAASH COMPANY, it is believed that Anushka has bagged yet another pivotal role in a forthcoming film.

If rumour mills are to be believed then Anushka Sharma is the latest addition to the cast of Rohit Dhawan's directorial debut Desi Boyz, produced by Eros. For the uninitiated, Rohit Dhawan is David Dhawan's son.

After her turn in Badmaash Company, we hear that the pretty Anushka Sharma will now be seen in Kunal Kohli’s next film, which also stars Saif Ali Khan.

Kunal was earlier planning to rope in Deepika Padukone for the film, a source said. Since Deepika and Saif’s pairing in Love Aaj Kal was a hit, she seemed like the ideal choice. Also, Kunal shares a good rapport with Deepika as they are working together with Imran Khan on the forthcoming Break Ke Baad.

Post CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA, Akshay Kumar and Nikhil Advani have joined hands once again, reinforcing the trust they've in each other's abilities. Nikhil's new project is titled PATIALA HOUSE and will team Akshay and Anushka Sharma in principal roles. In fact, this is the first film Anushka has signed outside of Yash Raj banner.

The film stars Rishi Kapoor in a pivotal role. "Besides, I've cast a lot of actors from U.K. since they'd add authenticity to the scenes. The story is based in Southall, U.K.," Nikhil informs me. What's the film all about? "It's a father-son story. The son gives up his dream to save his father's reputation, until he meets a girl who gives him the strength to stand up for what he believes. It's about second chances," Nikhil divulges.

It took Fanaa to bring Aamir Khan back to working with Yash Raj after he had worked with the patriarch Yash Chopra in the long forgotten Parampara. But the parampara continues with Aamir’s nephew Imran making his way into the Yash Raj banner. The film in question is likely to be directed by Chak De director Shimit Amin. But since he’s busy with his own film might make way for a debuntante assistant director who has been associated with the company for a long time.

Shahid Kapoor is slowly inching himself into Yash Raj camp. After the Rani starrer Hadippa, the actor has signed another film with Anushka Sharma who made a debut in last year's the production house's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

Anushka is on an exclusive contract with Yash Raj and this will be her second release. This is also Shahid's second film with the YRF banner.

A source from the industry reveals, "The untitled film will be directed by actor Parmeet Sethi, and he has also penned the script, which has impressed Aditya Chopra immensely." It is believed that Parmeet is on a three-film deal with the banner. The actor-turned- director's first brush with the Chopras was in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.
