According to our confirmed sources, news is that Shahid Kapoor and Anushka Sharma have now been chosen as the Brand Ambassadors of the skin care major Vaseline.

Anushka Sharma, who made her Bollywood splash in YRF’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shah Rukh Khan last year, has bought a three-bedroom apartment at Yari Road in Andheri.

Although she bought the flat a month ago and has already shifted there, she was hardly at home, owing to her extensive travels for film shootings.

A source says, “Anushka has been on a house hunting spree for a while now. Last month, she finally bought a three-bedroom apartment at Yari Road in Mumbai. Anushka shifted base to Mumbai a couple of years ago from Bangalore. Earlier, she stayed at the army colony in Malad. This is the first time that the actress has bought a house on her own and is very excited about it.”

With all the moolah coming her way, Anushka Sharma has invested it in a well meaning way. She bought herself a swanky duplex in Mumbai's Yari Road and is planning to move out of her rented flat in Malad very soon.

Although Sharma refused to say anything, her friend disclosed, "Anushka wanted a flat of her own and when she signed a big banner film and got lucrative endorsement deals, she invested the money in buying property. As the rates are still on the downside post the recession, she got a good bargain."

The actress has shelled out 3.5 crores, we are told for her duplex. While the interiors will be done at her convenience, Sharma plans to move in immediately. But it was not just a house that Sharma bought. She also got a Honda Accord for herself.

Deepika Padukone has lost one of her first brands, Parachute to Anushka Sharma. The actress after being the face of the brand for two years has just been replaced by Sharma. The commercial featuring the new model has already been shot and will be out on television screens by the end of October.

Parachute had signed Deepika before the release of her first film, Om Shanti Om. Even before the hoardings of the film were put up, Parachute cashed in on the curiosity of the public and began their campaign. But just two years down the road, the actress has been replaced. She fits the bill and so we went ahead with her.”
