Anushka Sharma who started her Bollywood career with Yash Raj Films’ ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ is one of the most successful actresses today. Her last film ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl’ also performed very well at the box office.

The actress has always been praised for the roles she has played in her films and the reason behind it is her choice of roles. “I have made a choice to be selective about my work,” says Anushka.

She further adds that she admires Kareena Kapoor for her choice of films. “I really admire Kareena Kapoor for the way she has conducted herself in Bollywood – the kind of films she has chosen,” said she.

Anushka believes every actress in Bollywood is her competition as they all try to bag the best roles. “Every actress today is competition for me. I will not make a statement like ‘I am competing with myself and need to make myself better’ etc because everyone here is dying to get the best roles that will push her career further. So, all the actresses are my competition,” insists Anushka.

Anushka Sharama has her hands full with big films like Yash Chopra’s directorial venture with Shahrukh Khan, another Yash Raj film opposite Shahid and Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’.
