With a successful sweep of all the Best Debut Director and Best Debut Male Actor awards at the award ceremonies, audiences are now waiting to see the if the magic of India’s favourite new on-screen Jodi will work again at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA). Anushka Sharma, whose previous films focused more on the male protagonist, gave a fresh new revival to her career, while Ranveer Singh became a household name thanks to the most successful debut that’s been seen in a long time.

This time the film has been nominated in the following categories at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA):

Best Movie, Best Direction, Best Female Performance in a Leading Role, Best Music Direction, Best Story and Best Dialogue.

Anushka Sharma also plans to weave her magic on the audiences and guests at the awards ceremony with her co-hosting stint with Karan Johar.

Now all we need to do is wait and watch if this smashing hot couple will walk away home with a handful of awards and an after party worth celebrating for.
